Open Positions

  • Medical Assistant

    MedWise Urgent Care has an ongoing need for full time and part time Medical Assistants.

    MedWise exists to use empathy as a driver of improved patient care, and our Medical Assistants play a pivotal role in this.

    Main job duties include:

    • Initiating exams
    • Performing lab testing
    • Assisting with procedures
    • Maintaining patient records
    • Coordinating patient movement through the phases of care within the clinic

    Qualifications include:

    • High school graduate/GED/vocational training equivalency
    • 6 months of medical experience
    • Current American Heart Association BLS certification

    Benefits (for full time employees):

    • Health: medical coverage offered through QuikTrip’s self-administered plan
    • Dental and vision
    • Life: coverage at twice the previous year’s earning.
    • Part-time employees may enroll in the QuikTrip Benefits Plan at their one year anniversary, given they’ve met the minimum number of hours worked.

    Financial benefits:

    • Retirement Plan: QuikTrip’s Retirement Plan consists of 401k, Profit Sharing, and ESOP.
    • Plan Eligibility Requirements for Participation: active MedWise employees are at least 21 years old and who have at least one year of service in which they have worked 1,000 hours, are automatically enrolled in the Plan.
    • 401(k): A participant may contribute up to the IRS limit each calendar year to his/her QuikTrip 401k account.
    • 401(k) Employer Match: QuikTrip matches contributions at a 50% rate for the first 6% of a participant’s annual pay.*
    • Employer Profit Sharing Contribution: QuikTrip may annually contribute a percentage of pretax profits to the Plan, to be allocated to participants to share in the contribution for the Plan Year.*

  • Physician Lead

    MedWise Urgent Care has an ongoing need for part time Physician Leads.

    MedWise exists to use empathy as a driver of improved patient care, and our Physician Leads play a pivotal role in this by providing quality control and clinical guidance for providers involved in direct patient care.

    Main job duties include:

    • In-person observation and training
    • Reviewing clinical documentation for quality metrics
    • Participation in regular quality assurance meetings
    • Analyzing aggregate data to guide quality improvement projects

    Qualifications include:

    • MD or DO with active medical license in Oklahoma
    • Willingness to serve as supervising physician for advanced practice providers
    • Board certification in family medicine, emergency medicine or the combination of internal medicine and pediatrics

  • Patient Experience Coordinator

    MedWise Urgent Care has an ongoing need for full time and part time Patient Experience Coordinators.

    MedWise exists to use empathy as a driver of improved patient care, and our Patient Experience Coordinators play a pivotal role in this.  Qualified applicants would be people-oriented, organized, have the ability to work independently, and have proficient verbal and written communication skills.

    Main job duties include:

    • Creating and maintaining a positive patient experience at MedWise
    • Greet and assist patients with:
      • Check in
      • Payment
      • Gathering patient information
      • Inputting information into the electronic medical record system
    • Apply knowledge of MedWise’s policies and procedures in order to maintain the patient file, medical records, prepare forms, verify information, and resolve routine clinic problems

    Qualifications include:

    • High school graduate/GED/vocational training equivalency
    • Current American Heart Association BLS certification

  • Advanced Practice Provider

    MedWise Urgent Care has an ongoing need for full time Advanced Practice Providers

    (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)

    MedWise exists to use empathy as a driver of improved patient care, and our Advanced Practice Providers provide direct care to patients in need of acute, non-emergent care.  APPs are responsible for the compassionate delivery of high-quality care to adults and children of all ages.

    Services include:

    • Physical examinations
    • Venipuncture
    • Splinting
    • Suturing
    • Diagnostic testing.

    Qualifications include:

    • NP or PA with active license in Oklahoma
    • Current American Heart Association BLS certification
    • OBNDD/DEA
    • Experience in family practice or urgent care
