Diagnostic Testing and Lab Work
Types of Diagnostic Testing We Provide
Diagnostic testing is a crucial step in determining the presence of infections, injuries, or other conditions that require medical treatment. At MedWise® Urgent Care, we offer a range of diagnostic services, including lab work, X-rays, EKG tests, and eye exams, ensuring you receive accurate and timely results.
X-Rays
X-RAYS
An X-ray provides a detailed image of your bones and joints, helping detect fractures or other abnormalities. At MedWise®, we utilize on-site X-rays to assess bone injuries and also to investigate potential respiratory or abdominal issues. Available X-rays include bone, joint, chest, and abdominal imaging.
Testing
VISION TESTING / EYE EXAMS
At MedWise® Urgent Care, we assess eye pain, redness, and injuries through visual acuity screenings and fluorescein staining to detect scratches or foreign objects in the eye. These exams are typically done during sports physicals or for minor eye injuries, but they do not replace the need for a prescription-strength eye exam. For vision-threatening injuries, an emergency room visit is recommended.
