Heat-Related Illnesses: Early Summer Concerns

As temperatures climb in late spring and early summer, heat exhaustion and dehydration become common concerns:

    • Dehydration symptoms (extreme thirst, dizziness, dark urine)

    • Heat exhaustion (heavy sweating, weakness, cold/clammy skin)

    • Sunburn with blistering or severe pain

    • Children and seniors showing signs of heat intolerance

Our providers can administer IV fluids for dehydration and provide treatment for painful sunburns.
