What conditions can be treated at MedWise® Urgent Care?

At MedWise®Urgent Care, we treat a variety of minor medical conditions such as respiratory illnesses, seasonal allergies, injuries, infections, and more. We also provide vaccinations, physical exams, and diagnostic testing like X-rays.

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?

MedWise® accepts both walk-ins and scheduled appointments. However, scheduling ahead of time can reduce your wait-times during busy periods.

What are your operating hours?

MedWise® Urgent Care is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Specific hours may vary by location, so please check the location nearest you.

Can MedWise® treat me if I don’t have insurance?

Yes, MedWise® offers self-pay options for patients without insurance.

How do I access telemedicine services?

You can schedule a telemedicine appointment by calling our clinic or booking through our website. Our telemedicine services allow you to consult with a healthcare provider from the comfort of your home.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Please bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card (if applicable), a list of any medications you’re currently taking, and a form of payment. If you have allergies, bring a list of those as well.

How long will my visit take?

The length of your visit may vary depending on the treatment required. On average, most visits last around 45 minutes to an hour. This is dependent on how busy our providers are during your visit.

Do you offer vaccinations?

Yes, MedWise® provides vaccinations, including seasonal flu shots, at all of our clinic locations.

How do I know if I need urgent care or emergency care?

If you have a life-threatening condition like chest pain, difficulty breathing, or severe trauma, you should visit the nearest emergency room or call 911. For non-life-threatening conditions, MedWise® can provide urgent care treatment.

Can I bring my child for treatment?

Yes, MedWise® treats patients of all ages, including children. We offer pediatric urgent care services for minor injuries and illnesses.

What insurance plans do you accept?

MedWise® Urgent Care accepts most major insurance plans, including Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, and United Healthcare, among others. Please refer to our Insurance & Payments page for a complete list of accepted insurances.

What is the cost of a self-pay visit?

For patients without insurance, MedWise® offers a self-pay rate of $185 per visit, which includes up to two in-house lab tests or oral prescription medications.

What if I have a question after my visit?

If you have follow-up questions after your visit, you can call the clinic where you received treatment, and a provider will assist you.

Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?

Yes, if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, you can do so by calling the clinic or managing your appointment online.

Do you offer COVID-19 testing?

Yes, MedWise® offers both rapid COVID-19 tests with results in 15-30 minutes and PCR tests with results typically ready in 2-5 days.

What conditions can be treated through telemedicine?

Telemedicine is suitable for minor illnesses such as upper respiratory infections, seasonal allergies, rashes, pink eye, and similar conditions. It’s a convenient way to receive care from home.

Do you offer physical exams?

Yes, MedWise® provides physical exams for school, sports, camp, and certain pre-employment requirements. Please check with your provider to confirm if we can meet your specific needs.

Do I need to bring any documentation for my child’s school physical?

Yes, if your child requires a school or sports physical, please bring any necessary forms from the school or sports organization, as well as a list of any medications they are taking.

How do I get my medical records?

You can request your medical records by contacting the clinic where you received treatment. There may be a short processing time for record requests.

Are there any restrictions on who can use telemedicine services?

Telemedicine is generally available for most patients. However, certain conditions that require physical examinations or lab tests will need to be treated in person.

Insurance, fees and payment

What forms of payment do you accept?

MedWise® accepts cash, most major credit cards, and HSA/FSA cards. We also work with most major insurance providers.

Can I pay my bill online?

Yes, you can pay your bill online through our Patient Portal. Please contact the clinic if you need assistance accessing the portal.

What is your policy on secondary insurance?

If your primary insurance is out of network, we are unable to bill your secondary insurance. We recommend confirming coverage with your provider before your visit.

What happens if I don’t have insurance?

If you don’t have insurance, MedWise® offers a self-pay rate of $185 per visit. This price includes up to two in-house lab tests or oral medications. We recommend calling a provider near you for details.

Do you offer payment plans?

Currently, MedWise® does not offer payment plans. Payment is due at the time of service.

Can I use my HSA or FSA card to pay for services?

Yes, MedWise® accepts both HSA and FSA cards as a form of payment.

How do I know if my insurance is accepted?

We accept most major insurance plans. You can view a full list of accepted insurance providers on our Insurance & Payments page, or contact your insurance provider to verify.

Are there additional fees for lab tests or X-rays?

For self-pay patients, additional services like X-rays or specific lab tests may incur extra fees. Please consult your provider for a breakdown of costs during your visit.

How much does telemedicine cost?

The cost of telemedicine services varies depending on your insurance coverage.

Do you accept Medicare or Medicaid?

Yes, MedWise® accepts both Medicare and Medicaid/SoonerCare. Please contact us to verify if your specific plan is accepted.
